Shooting wooden spools of thread back and forth is the essence of the immensely complicated craft of fabric weaving. Easy and cheap access to machine-made fabric is gradually turning this weaving cooperative in Ben Khiar, Tunisia into a museum. For now though the pride of craftsmanship is evident.
