In the basement of an ornate church in the embattled town of Bethlehem is this spot – commemorating the birth of the Prince of Peace. On the left is where Christ was born; on the right is where he was laid in a manger. When Bram visited here in 1999 it took almost two hours standing in line to get a quick peak at this place. This time the Ryans were the only visitors.
