Sunrise is the best time in the desert. It’s still cool from the night and the sun hasn’t yet started to fry your brain. This photo looks south from our second campsite in Wadi Rum, Jordan. When we asked our guide to take us here he furrowed his brow and said: “Not many go there, but it is possible.” The mountains to the left mark the border with Saudi Arabia.
